The research paper explored is here.
I am a part-time doctoral researcher at the University of Sussex, UK. Under the expert supervision of Prof Jane Oakhill, with support from Prof Nicola Yuill, Professor Kate Cain and many, many other colleagues, I am researching how the research around reading comprehension can be translated into effective practice in the classroom.
I am very interested in behavioural and implementation science and literacy development, especially the lowest attaining in our school system and those who find it hard to learn. I am fascinated by how using research can help teachers teach better.
